Caracas Bay
Port information
Caracas Bay is a natural, deep-water bay located on the south coast of Curaçao, about 8 km southeast of Willemstad. Formerly an oil terminal operated by Shell until it was dismantled in 1996, Caracas Bay is now an ideal location for berthing large vessels and other floating objects, easily accessible from the open sea.
The bay’s crystal-clear waters make it a preferred site for inspections, repairs, crew changes, spare parts delivery and underwater cleaning. It features two sheltered deep-sea piers capable of accommodating ships of all types and sizes, offering natural protection from wind and sea.
